For the last ten years, Krista Voda has spent the majority of her time covering NASCAR events for Fox and Speed. However, she grew up covering stick-and-ball sports. This weekend she’ll take a hiatus from the pit road grid to return to the gridiron.

In 2006, when Voda transistioned from Speed to NASCAR on Fox, she also began covering NFL games for the Fox network. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to cover a handful of NFL games, in addition to The Cotton Bowl Classic, where Voda hosted the pregame and postgame coverage.

It had been a couple of years since one of those opportunities aligned with Voda’s schedule.

This weekend Voda will return to the football sidelines for NFL on Fox, where she will be covering The Washington Redskins vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 4p ET.

Krista and the rest of the SPEED crew will be busy during Daytona Speedweeks.
