KRISTA VODA TAKES MIC OVER TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL FOR COTTON BOWL
VERSATILE SPEED™ AND FOX SPORTS PERSONALITY RETURNS FOR THIRD YEAR TO COVER GAME BETWEEN BIG 12 AND SEC TEAMS
SPEED and FOX Sports on-air personality Krista Voda will return for the third consecutive year as a sideline reporter for this year’s AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic on FOX.
Voda, host of NCWTS Setup on SPEED and pit road reporter for NASCAR on FOX, will join Pat Summerall, Brian Baldinger and Jeanne Zelasko for the Jan. 2 game between Texas Tech and the University of Mississippi.
Voda, who has covered everything from The Kentucky Der by to NCAA Men’s Basketball and the NFL, has worked the Cotton Bowl alongside Summerall and Baldinger the past two years.
“I couldn't be more thrilled to have been invited back to the Cotton Bowl,” Voda said. “The Cotton Bowl, and the people who work for it, are top-notch. I have never witnessed better hospitality or more passion for an event!
“This year should, once again, be an incredible match up ... Texas Tech vs. Ole Miss ... especially with so many hometown kids coming back to play in the Dallas area,” she continued. “One of my favorite things about covering the Cotton Bowl, or any event for that matter, is that it doesn't matter what the sport, the storylines are the same. Similar to NASCAR, you'll have athletes overcoming obstacles and the thrill of competition. How could it get any better?”
Kickoff for The Cotton Bowl is scheduled for Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. ET.
